ASHLAND — The Richland County Foundation has approved a grant in the amount of $2,500 designated for Hospice of North Central Ohio’s Camp Hope, a children’s summer bereavement camp.

Camp Hope was established in 1996 by HNCO in response to a growing need for special programs for grieving children in the area. In 2018, 88 children ranging in age from 6 to 17 attended the camp.

“This grant will help support this extraordinary program and assure it will continue to be offered cost-free to area children,” stated Kailey Bradley, HNCO Bereavement Coordinator. “We are grateful to the Richland County Foundation for this grant and for its past support of Camp Hope.”
