FREDERICKTOWN — David R. Sinzinger, 65, of Fredericktown, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at his home. He was born on March 2, 1953 in Cleveland, the son of Russell and Carol (Swingle) Sinzinger.

David was an active member of NewLife Community Church in Fredericktown, where he served as an elder and small group leader. David was handyman and enjoyed woodworking and taking care of his flower and vegetable gardens. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and served as a volunteer for the Ronald McDonald House in Columbus.

David is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary Lou (Swager) Sinzinger; his children, Kelsey Sinzinger of Athens, Tennessee, Bo Sinzinger of Mount Vernon and Caleb Sinzinger of Greensburg, Indiana; his siblings, Bill (Janetta) Sinzinger of Columbus, Joan (Tony) Beckett of Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, and Dan (Ronnetta) Sinzinger of Florence, Kentucky.

David was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 4, beginning at 1 p.m. at NewLife Community Church, 9955 Mount Gilead Road, Fredericktown, OH 43019. Pastor Dennis Turner will be officiating. All are invited to gather with the family following the service at the church. A private burial will be held at a later date.
