MOUNT VERNON — Paul H. Cagwin, 79, of Mount Vernon, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2018, at the Centerburg Pointe Rehabilitation Center.

He was born March 8, 1939, in Honeoye Falls, New York, to the late Hubert and Florence (Hodges) Cagwin. Paul was a service repairman for White-Westinghouse and Columbus Products Company from which he retired after many years of service. He enjoyed working on and rebuilding classic cars. But most of all, he loved the time he spent with his family. Paul was a veteran serving in the United States Navy.

He is survived by his son, Jeffrey Paul Cagwin; his daughter, Jennifer (John) Drumm; four grandchildren, Connor, Camron, Abby and Micah; three sisters, Sylvia (Eugene) McCoy, Joyce Harris, Nancy Dudgeon; his brother, Dr. Philip (Wendy) Cagwin; and his very good friends, Loysetta and Lester Sexton.

In addition to his parents, Paul is reunited with his wife, Sandra Cagwin; his granddaughter, Katie; and his brothers-in-law, Chuck Harris and David Dudgeon.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, July 25, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home, 201 Newark Road, Mount Vernon, officiated by Pastor David Fowls. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Delaware.
