FREDERICKTOWN — The weekly Fredericktown Farmers’ Market is in peak produce season, with a variety of local farmers and vendors gathering together in the village square.

This is the second year for the market, according to co-organizer Colleen Gregg. The market features a variety of community events, Gregg told the News, from a monthly classic car cruise-in, to cooking demonstrations, which are coordinated with Knox Community Hospital’s program Kids in the Kitchen.

The cooking demonstrations take place at the market itself, on Sandusky Street, where local produce and meat from the market are cooked using grills.
