MOUNT VERNON — Ronald Adams, 81, of Mount Vernon passed away at his home Friday, July 13, 2018.

He was born April 19, 1937, in Columbus, to the late Norman and Hazel (Workman) Adams. Ronald enjoyed his farm, mowing and growing tomatoes. But most of all, he loved the time he spent with his family and friends. Ronald was a veteran serving in the United States Marine Corps.

He is survived by his sons, Stephen (Taffiney) Adams, Kevin (Riki) Adams; two daughters, Keely (Scott) Woellert, Christa Adams; seven grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; his brother, Bob Adams; and his sister, Helen Adams.

In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, Eugene Adams.

In keeping with Ronald’s wishes, there will be no calling hours. The family will observe a memorial gathering at the home at a date and time to be announced.
