MOUNT VERNON — A Mount Vernon man found naked inside a flooded residence has been charged with burglary by the Knox County grand jury.
Timothy Orndorff, 38, was charged in a June 4 grand jury indictment with one count of burglary, a second-degree felony.
The charge stems from June 1. According to Assistant Knox County Prosecuting Attorney David Merrell, a North Norton Street, Mount Vernon, resident came home to find Orndorff inside, naked. Orndorff “appeared to be extremely impaired yelling a lot of indecipherable statements,” Merrell said.
