BELLVILLE — A large contingent of Mount Vernon News area football players will get one more chance to play under the Friday night lights when they participate in the North Central Ohio All-Star game. Fifteen players will be part of the South squad for Friday’s 7 p.m. game at Lexington High School.

Mount Vernon will have three players participate, including quarterback Jaxon Gregory, wide out/defensive back Logan Tate and lineman Josh Egan.

Fredericktown is also bringing three players out for their final high school game — tight end Xavier Stallard, lineman Mitch Hurlbut and linebacker Anthony Caputo.
