MOUNT VERNON — A former Mount Vernon city worker pleaded Monday in Mount Vernon Municipal Court to threatening to shoot a co-worker.
Gregory Branstool, 59, pleaded guilty to aggravated menacing and inducing panic, both first-degree misdemeanors. He faces up to 180 days in jail and a $1,000 fine on each charge.
Sentencing has been scheduled for July 9, following completion of a presentence investigation. City Law Director Rob Broeren said he has made no recommendation as to sentencing.
