FREDERICKTOWN — A revenue budget has Fredericktown looking to be in good fiscal shape for 2019, Mayor Jerry Day said.

“Unless something comes up that we don’t know about, we’re doing fine,” Day said. “All the department heads are good at doing their budgets. They’re getting what they need, and they’re not asking for what they don’t need.”

Fredericktown Fiscal Officer Mary Lou Hannan has prepared a proposed 2019 budget, which is submitted annually in the middle of the year and sent to the county auditor. The $923,550 general fund budget is a projection of the revenues Fredericktown expects to receive next year, and does not include the village’s carry-over, Hannan said.
