FREDERICKTOWN — Fredericktown Chevrolet was outscored 4-1 in the first inning, but that didn’t stop the team from having a big second inning to tie the game 5-5 by the top of the third. It wasn’t quite enough, though, as Bellville Lions Club went on to win 9-8 in the 9-10-year-old game at Fredericktown’s Merrin Park on Thursday.

Nick Lafevre, Nicky Hamilton, Grady Mills and Keith Rogers all gave Fredericktown Chevrolet RBIs when the team needed to stay in the game. One thing that stands out about Fredericktown Chevrolet’s team other than being able to hit the ball to stay in the game, is their willingness to bunt the baseball.
