MOUNT VERNON — Delphia A. Wilson, 68, of Mount Vernon, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She was born Dec. 10, 1949, in Flat Rock, Virginia, the daughter of Claude and Lola (Compton) May.

Delphia enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and playing games.

She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #760 of Mount Vernon.

Delphia is survived by her companion, Garland Fletcher; her children, William Turbeville of Mount Vernon, Rick (Brenda Schadde) Turbeville of Howard, Cindy (Leonard) Rice of Mount Vernon and Jessie Turbeville of Mount Vernon; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ralph (Faye) May of Howard; two sisters, Betty Mullens of Danville and Jean Long of Newark.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Lorie Martin; and a sister, Helen Vertrees.

Friends may call at the family home, 35 Marion St., Mount Vernon, Sunday, May 27, from 1-3 p.m. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of Delphia A. Wilson.
