MOUNT VERNON — In the early morning hours Thursday, May 10, 2018, this world lost one of the strongest men we’ve ever known. He went quickly and did not suffer. Although the sudden loss has us all still in shock, we know that he is in a better place and now able to breathe big deep full breaths. It is with a heavy heart and a saddened soul that we face the loss of Lenny Mosley, wonderful husband, amazing father, loyal son, genuine friend and loving Papa. He is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen (McKown) Mosley, his daughters, Amanda Henson and Cassandra Seaman, sons-in-law, Kip Henson and Mike Seaman and grandsons, Mikey and Nixon.

He is also survived by his step-mother Marie Mosley, his sister Ann (Mosley) Weisent, and his half-sister Linda (Williams) Kyle. He is now with his father, Leonard Mosley, and his step-brother, Bob (Robert) Williams, in a much better place. He is also survived by a huge group of extended family and many friends.

He happily resided in Altamonte Springs, Florida for the last 40 years. He was a Vietnam Veteran. He loved the outdoors- he adored fishing, golfing, camping, boating and riding his motorcycle. Unfortunately, the past few years he was unable to enjoy these hobbies. We thankfully had him here with us for 9 years longer than we thought, after he beat throat cancer in 2009. His family will be hosting a celebration of life in Len’s honor Sunday, May 20, 2018. Now he is at peace. Breathe big, Pops, breathe big. Leonard Earl Mosley 10/31/1944 – 5/10/2018.
