CENTERBURG — William D. Glackin, 74, of Centerburg, died peacefully Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at his residence.

He was a longtime service manager for Precision Tune, a veteran of the U.S. Navy and a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie 3614, Sunbury. He enjoyed attending car shows in Central Ohio area.

Glackin was preceded in death by his parents, William D. and Myrtle M. Glackin. He is survived by loving children, Heidi (Greg) Gross, L.B. (Allison) Glackin all of Chester, Virginia; grandchildren, Alex, Heath, Hannah, Will and Chandler.

Inurnment with military honors will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 18, at Green Lawn Cemetery, 1000 Greenlawn Ave., Columbus, with Pastor Marvin Hintz officiating.

Contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675-8517 in William’s memory.
