MOUNT VERNON — L. Patricia LaFever, 89, of Mount Vernon, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Knox Community Hospital. She was born Aug. 13, 1928, in Mount Vernon, the daughter of Charles and Bertha (Wheaton) Lawrence. Patricia owned and operated with her late husband, Richard “Dick” LaFever, Manufacturing Printers in Mount Vernon.

She was an avid reader and fan of the Cleveland Indians. Patricia served as a volunteer for over 10 years at the Knox County Humane Society and was an active member of Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon.

She is survived by her children, Richard (Sharon) LaFever II of Eldersburg, Maryland and Nancy LaFever of Johnstown; and two grandchildren, Cara LaFever and Jaclyn LaFever.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Richard “Dick” LaFever.

The family will observe a private service. The Dowds-Snyder Funeral Home of Mount Vernon is honored to serve the family of L. Patricia LaFever.
