MOUNT VERNON — The First Presbyterian Woman’s Association in Mount Vernon will hold its Rummage/Garage/Jumble sale on April 12-13. The First Presbyterian Woman’s Association uses the proceeds from their biannual sale for funding local missions. They give monthly donations of taxable items to Interchurch. The Winter Sanctuary, Habitat for Humanity and Boy Scouts also receive benefits from this sale.

The sale will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, 106 N. Gay St., corner of Gay and Chestnut streets, in Mount Vernon. Thursday, April 12, the sale will open from 1-6 p.m. and Friday, April 13, it will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with a Bag Sale from 2-4 p.m.

There is always a good selection of adult and children’s clothing, toys, furniture, linens and kitchen items, plus some uniques. This year they have a Kenmore sewing machine, an air bed, comforters and a rocking horse.

If you have questions or want to donate items, call the church office at 740-393-1326.
