MOUNT VERNON — Connie L. Day, 75, of Mount Vernon passed away Sunday morning, March 25, 2018, at her home. She was born Jan. 22, 1943, in Mount Vernon to the late Robert and Laverne (Clemens) Graham.

Connie was an accomplished artist, having done many glass etchings for Siegfried and Roy and a large mural at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas, and she designed the logo for the Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon. She retired from Cooper Energy Services with over 25 years of services. Connie was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Mount Vernon, the ladies golf league at Hiawatha Golf Course and the Red Hat Society.

Connie is survived by her brothers, Craig (Jane) Graham of Helendale, California, and Mike Graham of Mount Vernon; niece, Courtney Grimes of Mount Vernon; and her great-nephews, CJ and Chad Grimes of Mount Vernon.

A memorial service celebrating the life of Connie will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 4, at the Faith Lutheran Church, 170 Mansfield Ave., Mount Vernon. Pastor Mark Wildermuth will be officiating.
