NEWARK — A funeral service celebrating the life of Marcie Fetter, 55, of Newark, will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, March 24, at Licking Valley Church of Christ, 1578 Dayton Road NE, Newark, OH 43055. Services will be officiated by Pastor Gus Andrews. Burial will follow at Lock Cemetery. Friends and relatives may call from 4-7 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2018 at the church.

Marcie passed away Tuesday night, March 20, 2018, at Morrison Hospice Care in Zanesville with her loving family by her side. Marcie was a very loving and giving person, and touched many lives. She was born on July 6, 1962, in Mount Vernon to Eddie and Rachel Fairall.

She is survived by her mother, Rachel Fairall; husband of 21 years, Mike Fetter; son, Tom (Meg) Fairall; step-daughters, Emily (Dave) Proffit and Abbey (Scott) Viestra; grandchildren, Parker, Paxton, and Shepard Fairall, Ava Proffit, and Kasen Vierstra; sisters, Connie (Tracy) Thorpe, Sherrie Pfouts; brother, Eddie (Randi) Fairall. Marcie also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Marcie was preceded in death by father, Eddie Fairall.

She graduated from Centerburg High School with the Class of 1980 and worked for Holophane Company for 31 years.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marcie’s name to the Licking Valley Church of Christ or to a charity of your choice.

The Fetter and Fairall Family would like to extend a special thank you to the Morrison Hospice Care Home who aided in her battle with Cancer.
