MOUNT VERNON — A Johnstown man will serve four days in jail for violating a civil protection order.

Brandon T. Wright, 36, was sentenced Tuesday by Mount Vernon Municipal Court Judge John Thatcher to five days in jail, with credit for a day served, and two years probation on one count of violating a protection order.

If Wright again violates the terms of the protection order, Thatcher said he may impose further jail time, in addition to whatever penalties may result from the violation.
