MOUNT VERNON — In an effort to educate local businesses on Ohio’s liquor laws, KSAAT will host an Alcohol Server Knowledge training Wednesday, March 28, from 10-11 a.m. at the Knox County Health Department.

A representative from the Ohio Investigative Unit will conduct the training which will help business owners, cashiers, clerks and retailers recognize minors, detect fake ID’s and better understand the good faith acceptance. The training will also cover sales to intoxicated persons, vertical ID’s, after-hour sales, and removal of intoxicated patrons.

All attendees will receive a certificate of attendance for participating in the training.

While there is no cost to attend the training, participants are asked to RSVP.

To do so, contact Ashley Phillips at the health department at 740-392-2200, ext. 2271, or aphillips@knoxhealth.com.
