BLADENSBURG — The Bladensburg Firefighter’s Association will be hosting the annual Bladensburg Fire District breakfast Saturday, March 24, beginning at 8 a.m. This community breakfast, at 3790 S. Market St., Bladensburg, will include French toast among other breakfast items and beverages. There will be a 50/50 drawing and opportunities for questions and tours. There is no cost for the breakfast.

Chief Dan Rice is proud of this department and continues to be thankful for the support of the Bladensburg Firefighter’s Association and communities of Martinsburg and Bladensburg. “This support allows for the upgrades and training required to run a top-notch EMS and Fire district like ours. We appreciate the feedback we receive from the communities we serve and are dedicated to providing outstanding services every time we get called out.”

Rice and other officers will be available at the breakfast and will be happy to talk about the equipment, new additions, personnel training, etc.

“Our department continues to draw the interest of highly qualified firefighters and EMS personnel. Just recently, our medical director, Brooke Donaldson, M.D., was appointed to the American Health Council’s Board of Physicians. She offers this department excellent services as our medical director and we are proud to have her on board,” Rice said.
