MOUNT VERNON — Kudos, An Artists’ Co-op, will be moving on April 3 to a new location at 10 S. Main St. after seven years at their current location on North Main.
The studio will coming to South Main Street directly after the move of the location’s current occupant, Black Walnut Holler, to its new location shared with Creative Images at 122 W. High St.
The new spaces will offer more opportunities for both locally owned and operated businesses, allowing them to expand their respective businesses.
The main motivation behind Kudos’s move is because they have outgrown their current space, Marsha Ernst, Kudos manager, told the News. They currently host 19 artists that represent the following media: photography; jewelry; fiber; pastels; oil; wood bowls, boxes, tables, bird carvings and serving pieces; concrete; pottery; etched, stained, and blown glass; and paper, said Ernst.
