MOUNT VERNON — The Doubles and Singles Knox County Bowling Tournament was three days of fun and competition, sanctioned by the United States Bowling Congress and held by the Knox County chapter of the USBC at Colonial City Lanes in Mount Vernon.

Participation was up this year, partly due to stronger sponsorship. This year, among the women, there were 42 doubles and 77 singles competing. The men had 38 doubles and 71 singles.
