Joshua Morrison/News On Thursday morning, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on Wally Road. The Knox County portion of the road has always been gravel until this summer.

Engineer establishes road maintenance plan

Knox County Engineer Cameron Keaton recently announced a road maintenance plan that will strive to resurface 40 miles of roadway yearly through either “chip and seal” or “hot mix asphalt” methods resulting in an approximate 10-year paving cycle.
