MOUNT VERNON — Twin Oak Elementary fourth-graders were visited by Fran Elson-Houston with the Ohio Department of Agriculture and Knox County auditor Jonette Curry on Monday, during a visit for National Weights and Measures week.

“We’re always interested in bringing in real people, who do real jobs for our students to see,” Twin Oak Principal Sue Miller explained to the News. “Fran coming here and explaining her job is important for students to see that we’re a part of a much bigger world. And Jonette coming with her was just the icing on the cake.”
