FREDERICKTOWN — C. Leo Lotz, 75, of Fredericktown, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, March 3, 2018. He was born on Aug. 26, 1942, in Mansfield, the son of Charles and Dortha (Hamilton) Lotz Sr. Leo attended Fredericktown High School and was a member of the Kokosing Valley Tractor Club, Ohio Two Cylinder Club and Palmyra Church of Christ.

Leo lived life to the fullest as if he never had limitations. He enjoyed lots of hobbies such as fishing, hunting, conversing on the CB radio and snowmobiling. Leo collected and refinished John Deere pedal tractors and he liked to attend and display at engine shows and various parades.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara (DeWolf) Lotz, whom he married in 1962; four children, Tammi (Dorsey) Fields of Lecanto, Florida, Tim Lotz of Fredericktown, Kristi Tretter of Spring Hill, Florida and Tracy (Robert) Lotz-Rayl of San Antonio, Texas; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers, Dennis (Susan) Lotz of Fredericktown and Leslie (Julie) Lotz of Susquehanna, Pennsylvania.

Leo was preceded in death by his parents.

Friends may call on Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Palmyra Church of Christ, 21184 Zolman Road, Fredericktown, OH 43019 where a Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m. Evangelist Troy Northrop will be officiating. Burial will follow in Quaker Cemetery in Fredericktown.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Palmyra Church of Christ or the Fredericktown Alumni Scholarship Fund in care of the Community Foundation of Mount Vernon and Knox County.
