DANVILLE — After allowing 17-loss Millersport to hang around in the first half, the Danville Blue Devils took care of business in a big way.

Skyler Durbin and Corbin Hazen combined for 44 points to lead Danville to a 67-49 victory and another sectional championship, the team’s fourth in the last six seasons.

“We played really good defense in the second half,” Danville coach Matt Moore said. “We need to get the ball inside more in the first half. We attempted too many jump shots.”

Durbin, the area leader in scoring, did most of his damage in the second half. He had 11 points in the fourth period, including going 9 for 10 from the free-throw line.
