MOUNT VERNON — City Engineer Brian Ball reported he has made some progress in plans for repairing the dike between the west lake and the Kokosing River at Ariel-Foundation Park. A hole was torn in the dike on Nov. 18, 2017.

Not much can be done to repair the gap until the river level comes down and the current will continue to enlarge the gap while the river is high.
