COLUMBUS — Knox County’s lone qualifier in the OHSAA State Bowling Championships is one you’d least expect.

Colton Hogg, listed as Centerburg’s No. 3 bowler, scored a three-game series of 565 to be the highest individual qualifier at the Division II Central District tournament, held at HP Lanes in Columbus.

Centerburg was one of three local boys teams in Thursday’s tournament. The Trojans finished seventh as a team among the 12 teams.
