MOUNT VERNON — Mount Vernon Nazarene University Athletics, in coordination with MVNU Admissions, will hold an Athletic Recruit Day on Sunday, March 18.

The day will begin in Ariel Arena. Prospective student-athletes will have the opportunity to hear from Director of Athletics Aaron Quinn along with Tracy Waal, the Director of Undergraduate Admissions.
A tour of the MVNU campus will be provided, and participants will also be able to meet with current coaches and student-athletes of the university’s 16 varsity and three club sport offerings.

Varsity sports in 2018-19 at MVNU will include: women’s volleyball, men’s and women’s soccer, men’s and women’s cross country, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s track & field, co-ed competitive cheerleading, baseball, softball, men’s and women’s golf and men’s and women’s tennis. All programs have the ability to offer potential scholarships to prospective student-athletes.

Men’s lacrosse along with men’s and women’s bowling will begin as club sports in 2018-19 as well. The latest information on each of these sports is available at www.mvnucougars.com.
