CARDINGTON — The Highland Scots’ boys bowling team had high expectations going into Saturday’s Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference Bowling Championship at the Morrow Lanes in Cardington. The Scots boys (3,669 total score) held off the Centerburg Trojans (3,664) in the baker round to get out of Cardington with a first place finish.
Highland’s Ben Rhinehardt had the individual high series in the tournament, shooting a 644, while teammate Dana Hicks had a single-game 254. They and their teammates went into the tournament as the favorite. They just had to focus and stay in the moment.
