CENTERBURG — Centerburg Village Council voted Monday to prohibit the growth, processing or sales of medical marijuana within the village.

The vote comes at the recommendation of the village Planning Commission and following two public hearings, one held prior to Monday’s meetings.

A second scheduled public hearing to discuss the digital sign ordinance will be rescheduled after proposed legislation is written and released.
