DANVILLE — A coach’s dream game is to have every one of his team’s baskets be thanks to an assist from a teammate. That kind of unselfish play would be hard to defend and make everyone on the team happy they were involved.

The Danville boys’ basketball team nearly had one of those games Saturday for coach Matt Moore. The Blue Devils assisted on 19 of their 29 baskets and had four players score in double figures as they rolled to a 76-57 Knox-Morrow Athletic Conference victory over visiting East Knox.

“We’ve done a great job all year passing the basketball,” Moore said. “We did a very good job being unselfish tonight. That was a lot of our talk at halftime. I thought we passed the ball better in the second half.
