MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Senior Fair Board has asked a board member to temporarily step down from his position while a domestic violence case plays out in the judicial system.

Scott Moody was charged with domestic violence on Jan. 25, following an incident with one of his children.

According to Dustin Beheler, board vice president, the board’s executive committee met Wednesday night and decided to ask Moody to “step down temporarily.”
