LOS ANGELES — They rolled out the red carpet for Andy Rieman.

The Mount Vernon High School grad spent a week in Southern California preparing for the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl.

“I got to spend the entire week in downtown L.A.,” Rieman told the News. “From the time I got there, they took care of us. They fed us. We stayed at a nice hotel. All of it was really nice.”

Rieman, a senior at Mount Union, was one of only three players from NCAA Division III to play in Saturday’s all-star game. It was held at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, Calif., and aired on Fox Sports 1.
