…A Wintry Mix is Expected to Impact the Morning Commute Monday…
.Snow will move in from the west tonight, changing over to a mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow for many for a few hour period before changing back over to all snow around the morning rush.
From Cleveland to Canton and points west, a light glaze of ice and 1 to 3 inches of snow are expected. East of the Cleveland to Canton line precipitation is expected to remain mostly all snow with 2 to 5 inches of snow expected through Monday afternoon.
…WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT TO 1 PM EST MONDAY…
* WHAT…Mixed precipitation expected. Plan on slippery road conditions, including during the morning commute on Monday. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches and ice accumulations of a light glaze are expected.
* WHERE…Portions of north central, northeast and northwest
* WHEN…Precipitation will start off as all snow. A tranisition to a mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow is expected around 1 to 2 AM along the I-75 corridor and around 3 to 4 AM along the I-71 corridor. Precipitation should change back over to all snow everywhere by 7 AM. The heaviest precipitation is expected to fall from 4 AM through 9 AM.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Be prepared for reduced visibilities at times.
