..Very cold wind chills expected Thursday into Saturday…

.Temperatures will fall on Thursday behind another cold front. Breezy winds can be expected during the day on Thursday, with temperatures falling below zero Thursday night and Friday night.

…WIND CHILL ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM THURSDAY TO NOON EST SATURDAY…

* WHAT…Very cold wind chills expected. The cold wind chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to exposed skin. Expect wind chills values on Thursday to range from 10 below to 15 below zero. Colder wind chill values of 15 below to 24 below zero are expected Thursday night and Friday night.

* WHERE…Portions of north central, northeast and northwest Ohio, generally along and west of Interstate 77.

* WHEN…From 4 AM Thursday to noon EST Saturday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Very cold conditions will occur even in the daytime hours. Wind chills are not expected to rise above zero through the duration of the advisory.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills. Frost bite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and
gloves.
