Mount Vernon’s Ammon Hershberger, driving Ilikethenitelife (1) appeared to be the winner of Monday’s fourth race at the Knox County Fair, holding off Mi Amanda Juanita (4) with Ken Holliday in the sulky. After a post race inquiry, however, race officials ruled that Hershberger was in violation of the breaking rule, while leaving the gate. Holliday’s horse was placed first and Hershberger was bumped to second.
