ASHLAND — Hospice of North Central Ohio recently received a grant from the S.N. & Ada Ford Foundation at KeyBank for its annual children’s bereavement camp.

The grant of $5,000 will offset costs incurred and provide funding for Camp Hope which will take place at a new location, Pleasant Hill Outdoor Camp in Perrysville, June 19-22, 2018.

Camp Hope teaches coping and thriving skills, provides healing, and offers fun opportunities for grieving children aged 6 to 17 years. Hundreds of local families have been helped by this day-camp program.

HNCO Executive Director William Kahl said, “It is a privilege to serve children and positively affect local families through Camp Hope. It is only possible through the financial support of organizations like The Ford Foundation at KeyBank.”
