Just over $1,300 and 660 food items were collected for Food for the Hungry during Thursday’s Foodstock at the Knox County Memorial Theater. The chautauqua-like concert featured the Beatles in honor of the 50th anniversary of St. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. The Food For the Hungry drive takes place Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the theater, 112 E. High St., Mount Vernon. A live auction will start just after 1 p.m.
