HOWARD — Donna Sue Walters, 53, died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2017, at Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon.

She was born March 5, 1964, in Mount Vernon to the late Harley J. and Mary (Currence) Langdon. She was a former STNA for the Ohio Eastern Star Home and the Laurels. She was a volunteer companion with Hospice of Knox County and she also volunteered with the Knox County Humane Society. She was a member of the Brandon Baptist Church and she loved the Lord Jesus Christ. She loved her grandkids and attending all of their activities and her pets, Gabriel and Cash. She enjoyed spending time outside, and listening, singing and dancing to music.

She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Wade Walters, of Howard, whom she married Aug. 2, 1985; two sons, William (Tammy) Walters of Mount Vernon, and Derrick Langdon Walters of Coshocton; three grandchildren, Alexis, Seth and Makenna Walters; four brothers, Harley (Sue) Langdon, William (Joyce) Langdon, Jack (Marci) Langdon and John (Susan) Langdon; four sisters, Patti Jones, Sharon Langdon, Naomi Langdon and Tina (Vince) Moran; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dickie Langdon; and a niece, Casey Moran.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2017, at the Fischer Funeral Home in Danville. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at New Castle Cemetery, with Pastors Marvin Haught and Jay Horn officiating.

Memorial donations may be made in Sue’s name to Hospice of Knox County, 17700 Coshocton Ave., Mount Vernon, OH 43050.
