GLENMONT — Bicyclists riding up the Kokosing Gap and Mohican Valley trails now have another seven-and-a-half miles of paved trail ahead of them when they reach the Holmes County line.

Holmes County Park District Director Jen Halverson said paving was completed this summer and fall on the stretch of the Holmes County Trail from Glenmont to the Knox County line near Brinkhaven. Like some other sections of the Holmes County Trail, it is built to accommodate both bicyclists and buggies, with asphalt surfaces for the bicyclists and chip and seal for the horse and buggies.
