CENTERBURG — Centerburg High School is hosting a benefit spaghetti dinner Saturday beginning at 4 p.m.
The dinner will be spaghetti, meatballs, salad and garlic bread and is to support Bob Smith, who has served the country and the community for many years but is now battling pancreatic cancer.

Smith is the post commander of the American Legion Post 460 as well as a member of the Joint Veterans Council. He is president of the Centerburg Community Conservation Club and has spent countless hours taking care of the club and supporting and encouraging youth in fishing tournaments and youth trap shoots. He has always been there to raise the flag at every home football game or any event that needed it.

Donations to benefit Smith and his family will be accepted and there will also be a raffle of several prizes.
