COLUMBUS — Becky Appleyard, 68, beloved mom, sister, grandma, and aunt, passed away Nov. 9, 2017. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eileen Vincent Shrontz; uncle, Darwin; and nephew, Jason. She is survived by children, Rob, Erin (Jesse), and Kristine; siblings, Geneva and Rick; grandchildren, Aden, Leo, and Giselle; nieces and nephew, Michael, Susan, Betsy, and Lori; and cousin, Eric Ritterhoff.

She was a hair dresser for over 40 years and enjoyed various crafts and gardening, and was known for her afghans and sugared pecans. Family and friends were her passion. Her generous heart and kind soul led her to do so many thoughtful things for others. Even in the hardest of times, she maintained her cheery disposition. She was the one you called for support or just a listening ear. She touched many lives and will be dearly missed.
