PATASKALA — After leaving their mark on Division III for the past four years, the Highland volleyball team moved up to Division II this year with the hopes of doing the same thing.

The Scots did just that, but ran into another good team with just a little more motivation in the district finals. Granville had fallen in the Division II district finals a year ago and were looking to make amends.

Two good, motivated teams played Saturday at Licking Heights, battling it out for five incredible sets before the Blue Aces were finally able to grab the championship with a 25-23, 22-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-12 victory over the Scots.
