UPDATE: 12:43 p.m. Luke Allen has been located;

MOUNT VERNON — A juvenile reported as missing by the Knox County Sheriff’s Office is not believed to be in danger of harm, Sheriff David Shaffer told the News this morning.

The juvenile, identified as Luke Allen, 15, was last seen Tuesday at his mother’s residence, according to an email from Shaffer. Luke is described as being 5-foot, 2-inches tall, weighing 95 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing gray jogging pants with red shoes, according to a Knox Alert sent out by the KCSO.

Shaffer, writing in the email, said Luke’s mother went to check on him in his bedroom and found the window open. Luke lives with his father in Johnstown, but was staying with his mother for a few days.

Shaffer did not provide the address of the mother’s residence.

Anyone with information should call the sheriff’s office at 740-397-3333.
