CENTERBURG — Central Ohio Joint Fire District’s attempt to come up with an affordable plan to expand the fire station continued Tuesday, as members of the COJFD Board met with the architects working on plans.

Board members Don McCracken and Tim Eyster, along with Chief Joe Porter, met with representatives of Thomas Marker Construction in an executive session to discuss “real estate” Tuesday evening, prior to the regular board meeting.

Tom Stewart, a third board member, did not attend the executive session.

McCracken said they reviewed the preliminary plans and suggested revisions they hope will help keep the cost down.
