GAMBIER — The Friends of the Quarry Chapel is holding a public concert on Oct. 29 at 3 p.m. This event will feature two Kenyon College a capella groups: The Ransom Notes and Colla Voce.

The Ransom Notes are a co-ed a cappella group that sings music of all genres. They perform both a spring and a fall concert in Kenyon College’s Rosse Hall, as well as compete in the International Competition of Collegiate a Cappella every spring.

Colla Voce is Kenyon College’s all-treble classical and folk a cappella group. They perform once a semester in Kenyon College’s Church of the Holy Spirit. Their concerts include music that dates from medieval times to present day.

All are welcome to enjoy this free concert located at the historic Quarry Chapel, 10930 Quarry Road, in Gambier.
