HOWARD — All it took was a little communication and going back to the basics.

After falling behind by one set Thursday, the East Knox volleyball team went back to its fundamentals — setting, swinging and good passes — and ended up rolling to a 23-25, 25-18, 25-23, 25-21 victory over visiting Danville in Knox Morrow Athletic Conference action at East Knox.

“We wanted to win and we wanted to play. We were down one and couldn’t hold anything back,” said East Knox coach Stephanie Warner. “We moved and talked better. We played good fundamental volleyball.”
