FREDERICKTOWN — Law enforcement out to arrest a Fredericktown man for a parole violation Monday discovered an alleged meth lab.

Jeremy L. Dinsmore, 37, Mount Vernon, and Bryan P. Lamb, 31, Fredericktown, were arrested Monday on charges of illegal manufacture of drugs, second-degree felonies.

The charges were brought after an officer with adult parole, accompanied by Knox County Sheriff’s deputies, set out to arrest Lamb at his 15000 block Z Street residence on a parole violation. According to arrest warrants and a search warrant filed in Mount Vernon Municipal Court, Lamb was observed exiting the residence and heading toward an outbuilding. Lamb attempted to flee as officers approached, but stopped after he was pursued by an officer in a vehicle.
