The Killbuck Savings Bank Game of the Week.

Bill Davis/News East Knox quarterback Kadden Lester passes during a game earlier this season against Utica. The Bulldogs (5-0) take on Centerburg (1-4) on Friday.

HOWARD — It’s been 12 years since East Knox was 5-0 to start the season. It was also the last time the Bulldogs were in the playoffs.

The team that knocked them out? The same one that will oppose them Friday.

On paper, East Knox and Centerburg appear to be headed in opposite directions. The Bulldogs are sporting a perfect record and have scored an average of over 38 points per game. The Trojans have fallen to 1-4 and have scored in double-digits just once.

A good look shows that this game may be closer that you would think.
